Sometimes, I have to log into my PS3 system to see my online friends most recent message. All of our conversations are not loaded in this App, only what Ive said to them. It would be awesome if someone could fix this and make the PS3 system and this App in sync and Ill give 5 stars!

I want to like you sony I really do. The app is just good enough for the job. It does work but I would love to see sony hire another company to do their software.

If youre gonna have a dedicated messaging app, it should at least support gifs.

Really Sony??!!?! Too slow to load messages and bad for converting its totally sick! And the STYLE look like iOS 6 app !!! Fix the slow load for app and for messages

theres a bunch of glitches in it and it sometimes fails your messages

Im always connected to the Internet and when I open the app, it says "no connection detected" Pls fix!

Its bad enough we need a second app just to use the messaging feature of the Psn app! Then to top if off now that the app updated, the freaking messages dont load. Uninstalling! How the frick can Sony not make ONE functional app the bunch of wankers!

This is dumb, first off, to have a seperate messaging app...2nd, my onlines friends list will not update. I noticed this because I saw someone to message and tried to match up my friends list via my iPhone 6... Doesnt make sense.

They did not need to make this a separate app, they should have just allowed messaging from the PlayStation app

It would have been nice if you had left the messaging implementation in the existing PlayStation app and made this in addition, but who am I to complain? Keep up the good work Sony!

Why make another app to do the same thing the original was doing and taking up more memory on my phone ! Guess there just trying to follow a FB business model.

Having a separate app for messaging on the platform is pointless because now I have less of a reason to use the other one. The app is buggy and laggy, crashes often and to be honest really bad. Either fix it or remove it and replace the messaging functionality of the original app. If you plan on keeping this app then remove message notifications from the core app. Actually wish I could give it zero stars.

PS Messages will interfere with existing Airplay streams. It seems to do this merely for notification/message send sounds which I don’t think should hijack a stream. Other apps don’t exhibit this behavior.

I had to get rid of the instant messaging because of the annoying loud sounds when you were getting notifications etc! Seriously Sony fix this app!

I was happily using the previous version of this app with integrated messaging, now I get an alert "You must upgrade this app". Well, I dont want to upgrade, but continue using the version I have been. Now Sony has rendered this app useless, and in process broken App Store rules. Under App Store rules Sony cannot force a user to upgrade from a previous version. Sony, you are an outrage, and how dare you trying to skirt the rules!

I dont mind that they have a chat app, but why cant I just send messages through the PlayStation app like I used to? Waste of space/storage in my phone.

I dont find anything wrong with this app but Id rather just use the PlayStation app instead of downloading this....
