Why is PSN messaging in a separate app....?

I was able to send texts but now it does not allow me to do. Please fix ASAP. I do like the app a lot but needs some fixes

Integrate. Create one integral app with sleek design. This is PlayStation, not Facebook.

When trying to reply to a message, I get an error saying that the message cannot be sent. I dont remember the exact wording but I cant remember the last time Ive been able to reply to a message Also, I am unable to "leave" messages and groups. I used to use this to check which friends are online rather than viewing the cluttered menu of the original PS app but not anymore.

I dont know who originally came up with this idea, but its stupid. Facebook did it, now Sony too! Why take a feature out of an app? Its silly. Nobody *wants* to download two apps when it used to be one. They just eventually accept it. Please go back to just one app, dont be a Facebook.

What is the point of having another app? Its much easier when messages are built in to the actual PlayStation app like before.

Even after the so called "update", i STILL cant send messages to anyone via my phone. I have to go on my ps4 just to send a message

This is a really cool app but it lacks creativity. One thing I would like to be able to do is share videos to friends. I play Call of Duty so, being able to show off amazing matches or clips would make this app a 5 star app.

Whats the point of making this app? Put it together with the old app

I dont know whats wrong but whenever I type a message and press sent, it shows up makes a noise like its sent them it disappears. When I check my messages on my system none of the messages I send from the app show up. Please fix!!!!!!! I worked 100% better when it was the other way. It serve no purpose to even have this app since it dont do what its suppose to do.

After all the updates still can not send messages. Possibly going to delete app.

App is buggy. I have to manually close app often after typing a few messages. Keyboard glitches and stays in view blocking the messages on the bottom. I have to click on the "continue as John Doe" every time I use the app. These issues should have hammered out a while ago. Impressive messaging apps are now developed by 2 guys and a monkey in a garage, there is no reason why Sony cant have a decent functioning app.

This app performs poorly and should be rescinded back to its original home in the psn app. Please Sony this is too convoluted i.e. The switching back and forth.

the time stamps never line up. If I get a friend request it pops up right away on my phone and ps4 says I got it 15 mins ago? Also other times I find it doesnt refresh on the app when I have the convo though the ps4

Update for app doesnt fix any of the problems. Messages still wont send at all. Completely garbage.

This app is so buggy. I dont understand why you had to make a separate app why couldnt you just leave it as one. Also every time I open the app I have to put continue as me which is so annoying.

The app still needs a lot of work. Its extremely buggy from sending messages to time stamps to friends online!!!

wont send messages for me. wont receive messages for others. bad app.

Completely unnecessary app that rarely works.
